How To Access Your Policy on TheGeneral

By 4 No tags Permalink 1

The General predominantly insures drivers who are considered “high risk”, as they are considered the specialty of the brand, and as a result their car insurance premiums tend to be more expensive. Below, you can read up on how you will be able to create an account and access your policy through TheGeneral.com.

Step 1: Registration

After you have signed for your car and had your General insurance policy confirmed, you will want to register an account on TheGeneral.com. The site allows you access to various information about your policy, such as who is covered and what coverages apply to your vehicle; you can also obtain quotes and get an ID card. Registering an account on the website is very simple. You will need at least the last seven digits of your policy number, as well as a working email address. First, head to thegeneral.com/mypolicy and click the orange button that says “Register”. Any questions about the safety and security of TheGeneral.com can hopefully be answered by reading the privacy policy.

I’m trying to get to some page where you have me electronically sign something. I have a new policy, TX2447487. I don’t know what is wrong with this, it prints the numbers so small, so I will spell it. The policy is TX two four four seven four eight seven.

Anyway, the page did not come through to the email to electronically sign, though your payment did go through our bank.

I cannot reach anything by this website, much less a page you want electronically signed. Please send to the above email. This is not user friendly. Please send that page I need to sign to the email above.

    Thank you.
